CANVAS IN PRACTICE
Learning beyond
the classroom.
EduMais’s third-year Ensino Médio students visited Aussie Coffee to see the Business Model Canvas in action. Daniel shared his journey as a business owner, explained how he built Aussie Coffee and offered practical insights for the students’ own projects.
The visit connected classroom theory with the everyday reality of running a business, showing students how entrepreneurship can become a path they can follow. Daniel also sponsored drinks and cake for the group.

From school
to working life.
Senior high school entrepreneurship students visited Aussie Coffee in Ipanema for a behind-the-scenes look at running a business with founder Daniel Hobbs. On future visits, students will have the opportunity to reconnect with EduMais alumni working at the café and hear about their experiences of life after graduation and entering the working world.
These encounters connect classroom concepts with practical experience and help students see possibilities for their own futures.
EduMais welcomes corporate partners who believe in education, culture and youth development to help bring more experiences like this to students.
